Cal Thompson



Cal Thompson is the President and Founder of Sync. Cal prides himself on implementing creative employee benefits solutions and building long lasting relationships with his clients. Cal believes that the most important part of doing business in a fast-paced world filled with technology is a personal touch. Having received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Florida, Cal founded SYNC in 2013 as "Thompson Insurance & Financial Services". In his career he has been a Million Dollar Round Table producer*, currently serves as the President of the Central Florida Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and enjoys being involved in many areas of his community. Cal loves his dogs, Koji and Kaya, despite all the chaos they bring to his home. In his free time he is an avid golfer, real estate investor, Orlando Magic and New Orleans Saints fanatic.

Christa Brockway

Sales Manager


Christa is the Sales Manager for our South Florida office in Palm Beach Gardens. She provides training and support to our agents as well as excellent customer service to our individual and group clients. She values her time spent with every client in order to ensure they find a health policy that fits their needs and the needs of their family or business. She enjoys helping others and has spent over 20 years in the industry. She believes quality service plays a vital role in assisting clients, and prides herself on finding answers to clients’ questions, even if she has to go searching for them. In her off time she spends time with family and friends, is an active member in her children’s school and extracurricular activities. As a family the Brockway’s enjoy the outdoor activities such as playing in the pool, going to the beach, fishing and hunting.


Mary Penn

Director of Business Development


Mary Penn is the Director of Business Development for Sync. Mary's years of experience in insurance sales and marketing make her uniquely qualified for client relationship management. Mary's skill for establishing strategic relationships brings a lot of value to how we Sync with our clients. Mary has spent over 10 years in the insurance industry handling employee benefits for small businesses and individual insurance for life, health, disability income protection and voluntary insurance plans. Her overall strategic approach to balancing what customers want and what customers need help our team provide excellent service to our clients.

Mary has a major passion for fishing. She and her husband spend time on their boat enjoying the beautiful Florida coast or the hundreds of miles of lakes and rivers we are surrounded by in Central Florida.


Chad Vergason

Business Solutions Specialist


Chad Vergason is Sync's Business Solutions Specialist. Chad works with employers to help them attract and retain their most valuable asset, their employees. Chad's specialty lies in implementing benefit packages separate from health insurance and other core products. Chad holds a degree in entrepreneurial management and finance from the University of Central Florida. To keep his work-life balance in sync, Chad enjoys spending time with family kayaking, camping, and fishing. He also is an avid nature photographer and musician.

Jennifer is a sales agent for our South Florida office in Palm Beach Gardens. Jennifer values building lasting relationships with all of her clients while providing excellent customer service. She finds joy in helping others navigate the complicated world of health insurance and with 20 plus years of experience backing her in health insurance, Medicare, temporary insurance, travel insurance, and more she can help take care of all your health insurance needs. She believes taking time with her clients will provide an easy, efficient, and well cared for client experience. In her free time, she works for her local church in teaching children, planning events, and serving the local community. She is passionate about her faith, family, and any type of outdoor adventure.

Marie Danielle Craig is a Medicare, Individual Health, and Group Benefits Agent serving the Okeechobee area. She was born and raised in Okeechobee County. Danielle has worked in the business arena and public sector for 23 years. Customer service was a key component to her years of working in both roles. Keeping up to date with new legislation and researching to find the answer to issues that arise are just a few of the tasks that she is accustomed to. Danielle enjoys helping people understand complex insurance products. Danielle, together with her family, loves serving The Lord in their church, enjoying the outdoors, and traveling to see our beautiful country!

Allison is one of our agents working out of our South Florida office. She enjoys providing excellent customer service to all her clients and values the time she spends helping them navigate the tricky process of health insurance. Allison makes certain that each of her clients get the best plan for their individual and family needs. Working constantly to learn all she can about the best alternatives, Allison is prepared to help you with everything from individual health and Medicare coverage to temporary insurance, travel insurance, and more. Growing up with a nurse for a mom, Allison understands that health care coverage can be complicated, so one of her priorities is to make it just a little less intimidating. When she's not helping clients, Allison spends time with favorite books, new videogames, catching up on her favorite shows or working on her latest crafting project. But, being a South Florida native, she still enjoys going out on a boat fishing with family and friends.
